Holiday Season Six Picks - Week 2

Another week of Holiday Season Six Picks! This week's picks range from one of my favorite desserts to some extra cozy additions to your home.

Ree Drummonds’ French Silk Pie has been a holiday staple in my house for a few years. It’s perfect for anybody with a sweet tooth and very easy to make. My only tip would be to follow the instructions exactly as they are, especially when it comes to adding eggs to the mixer every 5 minutes! Also, I use a store bought graham cracker pie crust to save on time!

One of my favorite things to do during the colder months is cozy up on the couch and watch a good movie (usually Harry Potter!) The Cozy Earth Cuddle Blanket is a great addition to these moments. It helps that when not being used, this blanket looks lovely when draped over a sofa or armchair.

Your family and friends visiting for the holidays will LOVE using this towel warmer (and you’ll love it too!) I like adding things to my bathroom that give it a more spa-like feel and what’s more spa like than hopping out of the shower and wrapping yourself in a nice warm towel!?

You want a durable welcome mat for when guests come over, especially if you’re living in an area with lots of snow and mud! The most durable welcome mats that will get off the dirt, mud, etc. from shoes are made out of coir. I love the look of Serena & Lily's Sailors Knot Doormat. The knotted design gives the mat more texture to get debris off.

Who doesn’t love a good charcuterie board? I enjoy giving unique boards as gifts, like this Fortessa Petrified Wood Charcuterie Board from Pottery Barn. The dramatic look will jazz up any spread and since it is natural wood, no two are the same so it’s guaranteed to be a one of a kind gift!

I always find myself in the Stonewall Kitchen section of the grocery store browsing their condiments, dressings, and whatever else is on the shelves. Everything they make is so flavorful and makes for a great gift for the cook in your life. It was difficult for me to select just one of their items to highlight so expect to see more of their items featured on Six Picks in the near future. I love a fresh stack of pancakes or waffles on a weekend morning and this trio of maple syrup is the perfect addition to my breakfast.
