Plumbing Fixture Finds

This weeks Six Picks focuses on plumbing fixtures from the companies that do it best.

If you cook often you should consider getting a semi-professional faucet. The Tournant Faucet from Kohler has a three-function sprayhead. Each of these functions serve their own purpose: The “Sweep” function for superior cleaning, the “Berry Soft” is for the softer cleaning of delicate dishes and fruits and vegetables and “Spray” for everything else. The sprayhead also detaches for a wide range of motion. I love the elegant styling of this faucet and it comes in 9 different finishes.

You’ve seen me highlight Kraus products on my Instagram and website before and I have another one for you! I use Kraus products so often because not only are they visually pleasing, Kraus holds themselves to a higher standard and they make their products to last. When I am looking to add some more dimension to a bathroom I opt for a vessel sink. The Elavo Rectangular Vessel Sink is a sleek, subtle white that is the perfect addition to your bathroom if you too are looking to add some dimension.

One of my favorite showrooms to visit is WaterWorks at the Boston Design Center. Waterworks brings artisanal quality craftsmanship to all their products which makes them a client favorite as well. An example of one of these products is the Formwork Gooseneck Lavatory Faucet with Metal Knob Handles. I adore the simple, sleek look of the gooseneck faucet with the equally as sleek and subtle knobs.

Part of my job is paying attention to small details, such as the diverter on this tub spout. Every detail in a room can make a difference which is why I love this Metris S Tub Spout from Hansgrohe. The contrast between the round diverter and the sharp corners at the top of the spout adds a lot of character.

I love to install a prep sink into clients’ larger kitchen islands. It helps with day to day kitchen activities and gives me a chance to add some character with a second faucet. This Elkay Undermount Sink that has a stainless steel hammered finish is the perfect prep sink to pair with a larger stainless steel kitchen sink.

If you’re looking for a rainshower spray head you should consider one from Moen. I like installing Moen products in my clients homes because they’re high quality but a lower price point. The Verso Brushed Gold Spray Head Rainshower has a sleek design with beautiful contrasting colors. I like using mixed fixture finishes in a room to add some character so this black and gold combination is perfect for anybody else looking to add that same character!
